ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Sel Buyuksarac—a servant leader shaped by struggle, guided by faith, and driven by purpose. I’m a deeply understanding, supportive, and loyal husband. Family means everything to me. Since making Jacksonville our home in 2002, my family and I have worked to turn challenges into opportunities and dreams into lasting impact. I strive to live with humility, perseverance, compassion, and integrity every day.
Ramadan Dinners
Every year, during the holy month of Ramadan, Sel and Angie extend invitations to hundreds of their friends, colleagues, and neighbors to join them for dinner as they break the fast. They have been hosting Friendship and Gratitude Ramadan Dinners since 2009, and since 2017, they have opened their doors to the community, welcoming an average of 350 people each month.
My Philosophy
What does it mean to live and lead with intention? For me, it comes down to one word: LIFE - to Love, Inspire, have Faith, and Explore. These four guiding principles shape my service, leadership, and daily choices. Rooted in love for people, sustained by faith, committed to inspiring others, and fueled by a spirit of exploration, I offer a vision of leadership that is not just about achievement, but about living with purpose and honoring the Creator through every action.
